FS2002, Fua'amotu International Airport, Nuku'alofa, Tonga.............NFTF
By: Bill Melichar

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Description:

This scenery recreates the International airport on the Island of Tonga with all the goodies like a more realistic terminal with cargo area, parking lot, aircraft stairs at each gate, four static aircraft which can be eliminated, a small craft area off the dirt runway, gas tanks, and tropical landscaping. It is just a short hop from Fiji's Nadi airport, and a popular vacation get away especially for Australia.

Installation:

1. Extract the file into your FS2002 scenedb folder.

2. Turn on FS and go to the World tab, and then down to Scenery Library, and open it.
Then click on Add Area, and find the scenedb folder and click on it. The name Tonga should appear in the title window, then click OK. Tonga should now be at the top of the Scenery Library list, then click the OK tab at the bottom, and the scenery will install.

3. Exit FS, and go to your main FS2002 folder and open it, then scroll down till you come to some notebook icons, and find the one labeled scenery and open it. Scroll all the way to the bottom and find the Tonga section, which should be the last since you just installed it. Copy and paste these lines immediately at the end of the Tonga section under the last line.

Exclude=S21 14.45,W175 8.7,S21 14.58,W175 8.6,objects

4. You are done! Go enjoy Tonga.

Notes:

This area also has some aircraft bouncing issues that I encountered while doing French Polynesia. I feel it has something to do with the way Microsoft created their islands in FS2002 with the exception of most of Hawaii. Tonga is slightly South and East of Figi, and my goal is to do the more important islands of the South Pacific eventually ending up back at Tahiti. This scenery has density settings in order to eliminate the static aircraft at the main gates, and small craft terminal. At very dense you will get everything, at dense it will eliminate the large jets at the main terminal, and at normal you will get all the scenery, with no static aircraft.
